We try hardeR!!

I found old old 5ZIGEN English brochure from a pile of old magazines and catalogues when I was cleaning our office.
The size is A4, Japanese format, one fold, total 4 pages brochure.

JTCC Civic Sedan on the cover. The graphic was already vivid and loud like always.
Driver was Hideki Okada.
Tire sponsor was Yokohama back then.
We have been thinking “We try harder”was a cool, poetic expression…
Traditional triangle 5ZIGEN logo still looks good.
There was no "- - - -" next to 5 yet.

Let’s see the inside….

Exhausts were all hybrid(?) type - Alstar main pipe with SUS304 muffler + tail tip.
Even the popular Fireball has not born yet.
There was no full stainless steel exhausts in the product line up.
It is amazing that Border III and Cannonball are still in the product line and getting a lot of support from users.

In the time, "5ZIGEN" wheels were only 2 models - N1R QF and legendary popular N1R DIV.3 with 15” and 16”. ARD brand was given to the gigger size wheels.
ARD Super Lisence, 6-spoke wheel, had two versions - mono-black 17" and 2-piece 18".

Steering wheels were popular item back then.
Many people still suggest us to re-make them.

The year is not mentioned in the catalogue, I gurss it was published around 15 years ago, because EG Civic was in production from 92 to 95.
The picture of models in high-leg swimsuits also tells us many years have been past....
And another year is around the corner!

This will be the last of GO-ZIGEN blog in 2008.
