CARBOY COVER

There is a correction from yesterday's blog. CARBOY actually continued the US tuning scene cover series for 4 yearts until 2007. During the 4 seasons, demo cars from 5ZIGEN USA were selected 3 times.

The first one was the yellow S13, I introduced yesterday. Unfortunately, I don’t have a copy of the issue on this car...

The second car from 5ZIGEN was turbo charged G35 Coupe on 2005 August issue.

The scene was car wash for summer issue. Of cause, the photoshoot was done in a cold cloudy day in November after SEMA.

This car was owned by our good friend, D.J. G-Cue. http://www.djgcue.com/DJGCue.html He helped us from R&D of exhaust systems to promoting our products. The car was displayed at 2004 SEMA. 20-inch Hyper 5ZR Hyper Silver was his selection. We made ProRacer A-Spec base custom exhaust for his turbo G35. The body kit was Top Secret front bumper to cover the intercooler + INGS side & rear.

There was no cover car from 5ZIGEN in 2006. 5ZIGEN USA Honda Challenge EG was selected for 2007 June issue.

Road race Civic was good selection for CARBOY that has many armature racers, DIY tuners as their readers.

The driver, the tuner as well as the owner of the car, Sam Higashi got series champion of 2006 NASA Southern California Honda Challenge H1 class. The car had conservative spec comparing other K20, K24 powered H1 cars at the time, but his cornering speed was always #1.
