5ZIGEN Civic Type-R (FD2) has been shipped out to Malaysia. As we have reported, this car was built for Petronas Primax 3 MME 12-hour endurance race at Sepang International Circuit. The 12-hour race will start at 11:30 of August 8, 2009.
Here are some pictures of loading of the race car and parts in 5ZIGEN Osaka factory.

All spare parts and tools were packed and shrink wrapped. It is needed for protecting parts and tools from moisture during traveling tropical ocean.

Many of spare wheels were also loaded.

The FD2 was loaded to the flat-bed truck first. Then, the tow truck backed back to the container and the staff checked the location that the ramps should be located. The tow truck backed up on the ramp and the FD2 finally transferred to container.

Hood, doors, trunk of FD2 had been sealed with tapes and plastic sheets for moisture protection. We all hope the FD2 have safe trip to Malaysia. Hoping 5ZIGEN Civic and the team doing good job in the hot and humid race!! We believe they are tough enough!!
