5ZIGEN Accord @ Tsukuba Super Battle

Team 5ZIGEN participated in "Tsukuba Super Battle" December 9.

5ZIGEN TSX went back to Japan now. So, I call the car Accord Euro-R which was given originally.
Our engineers and mechanics worked hard to prepare the car for the Tsukuba attack right after the car arrived from USA. They had only 5 days including weekend. During the 5 days, they relocated the inter-cooler from top to front mount and added the Nitrous system not only fixing the fenders broken at Fontana.

Arrived at Tsukuba early morning of 12/8, a day before the attack. Katz Hiranaka piloted this day for testing and setting the Nitrous system and new tire, Hoosier.

Tire warmers were used for the attack - A lot of American products are equipped on the Accord Euro-R now - Edelbrock Nitrous system, Driveshaft Shop's reinforced axle-shafts, Sports Phonics' Driver Earphones, Hoosier DOT semi-slicks, etc.

Our participation to the Tsukuba Super Battle was done as a part of Hyper Rev magazine cover. A journalist/race driver, Takayuki Oi played the roll of attack driver. How Oi-san did with 5ZIGEN Euro-R? I will upload the report from Tsukuba after Oi-san's article come out.
