Be cool with ProRacer SP

A new exhaust system from ProRacer line has been debut - ProRacer SP for Nissan 350Z, Z33.
The development of ProRacer SP for Z33 was lead by Team 5ZIGEN race engineer, Mr. Seiji Hirai.
ProRacer SP is made particularly for street legal in Japan.
The design concept of SP is that the exhaust system for adults who love sports driving and seek the real things.

5ZIGEN Japan’s Z33 demo car and the ProRacer SP exhaust system were featured by CARBOY, October 2008 issue.

The points Hirai-san was particular about;

1 – The Lightness:
Small silencers were selected to make the rear overhang lighter
1mm thickness, SUS304 material was used for the main pipe

2 – The Sound & the Power
The t=1mm thin pipes make the sound dry and crisp
The rear Y-section is made as equal length to make the sound harmonize
Keeping street legal noise level (93 dB in Japan) with using small and light materials
80mm → 60.5mm piping was selected to gain the power and torque without loosing the drivability Z33 originally has

3 – The looks:
The two small rear silencers emphasis sportiness of 350Z
Inconel 600 titanium alloy tail tips, which is used for headers of Formula cars, show the owners’ pride, but not showing-off

MODIFIED magazine February 2009 introduced the ProRacer SP in the MOD GEAR section.
