The primadonna of the INDY is, of cause, Danica Patrick. Her paddock was surrounded by many fans all the time during the race weekend. The track on the picture sells only official Go Daddy Danica goods. It shows us how Danica is poplar.
インディーのプリマドンナと言えば、もちろんダニカ・パトリック。 レース期間中、彼女のパドックはいつもたくさんのファンに囲まれていました。 このトラックはGo Daddy ダニカのオフィシャル・グッズだけを販売しているトレーラー。 人気の高さが分りますね。

#19 pulled to the hot pit for qualify - rain tires are used for rolling to the hot pit because the race cars have to towed long distance on the rough surface in Long Beach. The tires for qualify will be installed at the hot pit. This is the extra work mechanics have to do at non-permanent circuit.

I was impressed by transporters of Chip Ganassi Racing every year. How cool and what a parking technique!! Not only this team, all transporters have parked each other with minimum gaps like this... Not only racers, another amazing drivers...

Bigger is better, Americans still think. LOL My jaw has dropped for a while when I saw my little lunch plate. See the size of the corn dog... By the way, corn dog is called American dog in Japan. Of cause, the size is non-American size over there....
アメリカ人は未だに大きいことはいいことだ、と考えているようです(笑）。 見て下さい、このコーン・ドックのサイズ！ 軽いランチのつもりで買ったんですが、暫らく開いた口が塞がりませんでした…。 このコーン・ドック、日本での呼び名はアメリカン・ドック。 もちろん日本のそれは、アメリカンサイズではないですが…。 (アメリカでも普通はこんなに長くないです。)
