NSX Quad Tail Special Exhasut

I just talked that 5ZIGEN Japan takes orders of fabricating one-off exhaust system yesterday. I like to introduce the newest custom exhaust 5ZIGEN Japan had just done.
This is something special.

First of all, as you see on the picture, it has two tips in the center and single tip each side, total 4 tips.

下から覗くとこうなります。↓

According to a R&D staff, the bulb, around the center of the picture, controls the exhaust flow. The exhaust goes center dual tips when it is straight and it goes to tips on each side when it goes to muffler.
開発部に話を聞いてみると、写真中央あたりの出っ張りが弁になっており、ストレート排気とタイコを通るパイプとに排気の流れをコントロールできるようになっているとのことです。

OMG! The exhaust note was hella loud when it is straight out!
オー・マイ・ガッ、ストレート時は凄まじい音です！

It seems the current trend is switchable muffler which can select silent or loud.
サイレントと爆音を合わせ持つマフラーは、今風なのかもしれませんね。

The complicated pipe layout which two exhaust into one is tempting many of enthusiasts.
It gave us a impression that this is something special.
