Drift MX-5 at Grange Motor Circuit

Bill of International Allstars asked me to tow their drift MX-5 to Grange Motor Circuit. It is in Apple Valley, CA where is 100 miles away from Los Angles on the way to Las Vegas. So, I said OK!, but it was tough job than I was thinking.... I basically had nothing to do after dropping off, but being there was the hardest thing because it was extremely cold day. The low was 29F, the high was about 48F. It was so tough for the body spoiled Los Angeles weather last 10 years…
毎度おなじみ、インターナショナル・オールスターズのビルから、ドリフトMX-5をグランジェ・モーター・サーキットまで運搬してくれない？と頼まれました。　グランジェはアップル・バレーというLAから100マイルくらい北東、ラスベガスへ行く途中にあるカート用サーキット。　OK!、と引き受けたものの、これが想像以上に大変な仕事でした…。　基本的にはクルマを降ろせば何もすることはないのですが、そこに居るということが最大の問題でした。　とにかく、風が強くて、めっちゃ寒い…。　最低気温-2℃、最高気温＋9℃くらいでしょうか…。 10年もロスにいてなまった体にこの寒さはツライ!!

Good morning Colin and the car #2! Seven o'clock of the morning, the car has already been on the ground. Now, you can imagine how early everybody had to wake up… Me? I slept at a motel in Victorville, 12 miles south from Grange.

Allstars girls worked hard in the windy and cold day at the high desert.
標高が高い砂漠地帯で強風＆寒波の中、オールスター・ギャルズも頑張っていました。

The MX-5 runs very strong all day. I see high potential for gymkhana or auto-x for this quick handling car.
力強い走りを見せるMX-5。　ハンドリングのいいMX-5,ジムカーナやオートクロスでも活躍できそうです。

Beautiful sunset covers Apple Valley. After hard long day, now 5ZIGEN van is heading to Los Angeles.
美しい夕焼けがアップル・バレーを包む。　長くツライ1日のあと、5ZIGENバンは一路、ロサンゼルスへ。
Grange Motor Circuit is a big race track for Kart and Super Moto in middle of desert. It will be fun place for mini time attack or kart-course gymkhana by regular cars. There are two things everybody needs to pay attention. First, we have to drive several miles of unpaved road to get to the circuit in the desert. So, don't make your car too low or prepare tow vehicle. Secondly, Google Map, Map Quest or GPS, they don't bring you to the place. It might be becuase the area is under develoment. グランジェ・モーター・サーキットは砂漠の中の大きなカートやスーパー・モト用のレーストラック。　一般車でのミニ・タイムアタックやジムカーナにも使えそうな感じ。　でも、気をつけないといけないことが2つ。　まず、この砂漠の中のサーキットにたどり着くためには、５〜６マイルの未舗装路を走らなければならないこと。　あまりクルマの車高を落とし過ぎないようにするか、トレーラーを用意しましょう。　次に、この付近は現在造成中らしく、グーグル・マップ、マップ・クエスト、カーナビ等が当てになりません。　グランジェのウェブサイトの指示に従いましょう。　行けば分かるから…（笑）。
